High
Royds Residents Association.
The High Royds Residents Association (HRRA) was established in 2008
to represent the views and interests of all of its 600 + homes and
residents, to share concerns for the local area and by working together
to build relationships with the developers, the managing agents,
the local community, Leeds City Council, West Yorkshire Police and
other services to provide a safe and happy place to live.
HRRA are very concerned
that the access roads have not been completed to adoptable standards
and therefore Leeds City Council have been unable to take responsibility
for the street lighting on the estate. Our initial objectives are
to ensure that street lighting is provided and the establishment
of a liaison committee as required by the planning permission granted
to the developers.
We meet at
7.30pm on the first Thursday of each month in the Sports and Social
Club and meetings are open to all residents. If you want to know
more and hopefully join us please email Tony Whetham (HRRA Chair)
on tony.whetham@mac.com
or telephone 07884 344 820.
